First to arrive we will be watching for the granddaddy of the Alaskan Salmon in the King of the river. Kenai River King Salmon should be entering the river in early May; we will be ready and will report on their progress here.

Everyone loves the Kenai River Sockeye Salmon, well be looking for the first run to enter the river in June.

Just the thought of a bright Kenai River Silver Salmon is enough to heat up the blood even on the cold February nights. Look for the Silvers to start entering the river in Late August and really heating up the river with some heart throbbing action come September.

This will not be a humpy year. No return expected in the Kenai River.
